MHS Students and Families -
Next year's Juniors (Class 2027) & Seniors (Class 2026) are eligible to participate in Meeker High School's Work-Based Learning Program.
Students who have any interested in participating in Work Based Learning (WBL) for the 2025-2026 school year, must fill out the attached application form.
The completed application form is due on May 1st by 4 pm .
If students do not fill this out, they will NOT be eligible for a Work Based Learning Placement. Filling this out does not guarantee a Work Based Learning placement or class period next school year.
Before completing the application, please know:
1. WBL is for a learning experience, based on career interest.
2. WBL is not to avoid taking classes at the high school.
3. There are assignments every week, and semester projects- this is a very independent based class.
4. WBL is really designed to offer a 3rd or 4th year of experience for CTE classes, although exceptions occur, they are not designed to just have a job.
